- On-going clinical supervisors’ assessment on general dental practice, high caries risk, complex periodontal treatment and treatment planning throughout the teaching period (20%);
- Clinical Assessment on treatment planning and patient management throughout the teaching period (25%);
- Case presentation exam, 1 hour viewing and preparation followed by 25-minute presentation viva voce to be held at the end of teaching period (25%);
- Continuing clinical assessment of the treatment of patients receiving orthodontic and paediatric dentistry care through a clinical log book assessed by the clinical supervisor (criteria provided) at the end of each session and presentation of a journal article at a seminar, throughout the teaching period (10%);
- Continuous clinical assessment of patient log book for Endodontics and Fixed Prosthodontics throughout the teaching period (20%).
Hurdle Requirements:
- Satisfactory Professional Behaviour
- Completion of endodontic treatment on 3 teeth (one of which must be a multi-canal tooth) and completion of fixed prosthodontics treatment of 3 crowns and 1 cast post and core and submission of all endodontic and fixed prosthodontics case logs
- 75% attendance at Lectures; 100% attendance at Seminars/Tutorials, Clinical Sessions & Treatment Planning
