This subject is the culmination and synthesis of all the other subjects on the course, where knowledge and skills are applied in a project that the student will identify independently. This will take the form of fieldwork; this may be on a project happening at the VCA or in the main stage or independent theatre arena in Melbourne, nationally or internationally. This would entail working as a dramaturg or assistant dramaturg on a project of a large or small scale. This work will be documented, discussed and critically analysed for assessment purposes.
