Students will establish a ‘zeitgeist-driven’ screen project for delivery as an oral pitch and as a written project document, based on the way in which screen projects are devised commercially, and demonstrating the students’ understanding of their choice of content, end-use and audience type.
The project is expected to reflect the professional direction likely to be taken by the student after graduation, but need not be limited by this.
Student will develop the project through regular supervision sessions with both subject coordinator and industry practitioners.
Intended learning outcomes
On completion of this subject students should be able to demonstrate
An ability to present the intent and scope of the project effectively in a public forum
- An understanding of how to design and carry out a screen production project
- Mastery of the vocabulary and writing styles used in the presentation of project proposals

On completion of this subject, students should have developed:

- Ability to seek out, organise and evaluate relevant information;
