Prerequisites

To enrol in this subject, students must have successfully passed the following pre-requisite subjects:

Recommended background knowledge

It is recommended that students have an understanding of common illnesses and diseases in patients who are acutely ill. It is expected that students will be to apply the theoretical knowledge learned in the pre-requisite subjects, Applied Pathophysiology, Foundations of Critical Care Nursing and Intensive Care Nursing 1 to concepts explored in this subject.
