Overview
English Language Studies enhances the effective use of the most widely spoken language in the world. Students develop an understanding of its history, its subtle and intricate grammar, and the status of its many social and geographical varieties.

English Language Studies
English Language Studies is available as a minor area of study in the Bachelor of Arts. To complete the minor, students must complete the following:
Level 1
- Intercultural Communication, or
- The Secret Life of Language, or
- 12.5 points of Academic English,
and
- One Arts Foundation Subject (12.5 points)
Level 2
- LING20011 Grammar of English (12.5 points) and
- 12.5 points study from English Language Studies Level 2 subjects
Level 3
- 25 points study from English Language Studies Level 3 subjects
