Australian Indigenous Studies

Students undertaking pure honours in Australian Indigenous Studies must complete:

• AIND40007 Australian Indigenous Thesis Part 1, and AIND40008 Australian Indigenous Thesis Part 2 (50 points); and
• MULT50001 Research Principles and Practices (*see note below) (12.5 points); and
• three honours Australian Indigenous Studies subjects (37.5 points) listed below.

Students undertaking combined honours in Australian Indigenous Studies and another discipline must complete:

• AIND40007 Australian Indigenous Thesis Part 1, and AIND40008 Australian Indigenous Thesis Part 2 (50 points); and
• MULT50001 Research Principles and Practices (*see note below) (12.5 points); and
• three honours subjects in the combining program (37.5 points).

OR

• Honours thesis in the combining program (50 points)
• research methodology subject in the combining program (12.5 points); and
• three honours subjects in Australian Indigenous Studies (37.5 points).

*Note: Students must undertake MULT50001 Research Principles and Practices in the first semester of their Australian Indigenous Studies Thesis enrolment.
