Intended learning outcomes
Students who complete the Graduate Certificate in Arts (Advanced) should have:
- an advanced level of methodological and theoretical approaches in one area of study;
- refinement of analytical and critical skills; and
- a strong foundation for the future, whether through progressing to further postgraduate study, or improved scope of employment options and professional advancement.
Generic skills
Students who complete the Graduate Certificate in Arts (Advanced) should:
- be able to demonstrate an advanced level of study specialist knowledge across one area of study;
- have refined their analytical skills and research techniques;
- have a strong foundation for the future progression to higher degree research in Arts at the Masters or PhD level; and
- have improved the scope of employment options and professional advancement.
