Drama Therapy Methods 3 introduces students to objects and role play methods and theories, through experiential learning. In classroom practice students will co-facilitate participation in a group drama therapy experience using objects or role play.
In addition, students will identify, describe and analyse group members’ responses to engagement in object and role play methods, Further, they will explain and critically reflect on the core processes at work.
Intended learning outcomes
Upon completion of this subject students should be able to:
- identify, examine and analyse one role play method theory;
- co-facilitate participation in a group drama therapy experience using objects or role play;
- identify, describe and analyse group responses to engagement in object and role play methods;
- critically reflect on the core processes at work.
