This subject focuses on developing Fellows knowledge, skills and attitudes in collaborative research and practice in a way that deepens their changemaking skills and grows their changemaking assets. The subject will provide significant time for collaboration with and amongst Fellows. Fellows will be afforded the opportunity to work in action learning groups with local community organisations and explore ‘place’ as a critical tool for collaboration and changemaking. Fellows will experience working together and in partnership with local Indigenous communities to understand the intersection of Indigenous knowledges and social change leadership. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect deeply on collaborative processes. Part of this intensive subject is taught on Country in an Indigenous community (off campus), where First Nations people and organisations will play an active role in the teaching of the subject.
