Intended learning outcomes

On successful completion of this specialisation, students should be able to or have acquired:

• Demonstrate a detailed knowledge and understanding of Architecture History, Theory and Criticism
• Demonstrate the critical thinking and analytical skills to identify a current issue in Architecture History, Theory and Criticism, and formulate a research question to investigate this issue
• Understand the historical, environmental and social context of source material, and place research materials in a nuanced context
• Demonstrate a grasp of research methodologies appropriate to Architecture History, Theory and Criticism
• Ability to undertake a substantial piece of original, independent research
• An understanding of, and respect for academic honesty and ethical research
• Develop the written and verbal communication skills to articulate their research clearly to a variety of audiences.
