Overview
Intended learning outcomes
In addition to the Intended Learning Outcomes for the Master of Biomedical Engineering, students completing the specialisation in Business will be able to:
- acquire cognitive skills to demonstrate mastery of theoretical knowledge and to reflect critically on theory and professional practice of biomedical engineering in the context of the business world;
- gain technical and creative skills to investigate, analyse and synthesise complex information, problems, concepts and theories, and apply established theories to different bodies of knowledge or practice related to business and biomedical engineering;
- acquire communication and technical research skills to justify and interpret theoretical propositions, methodologies, conclusions, and professional and business decisions to engineering and non-engineering audiences;
- design, evaluate, implement, analyse, and theorise about developments that contribute to professional practice or scholarship in the context of business
