Course structure
The Master of Advanced Nursing Practice prepares graduates to be clinically proficient, professionally articulate and ready to assume a major responsibility in developing new professional roles, devising new models of care and overseeing dynamic changes to practice. In the second year two streams are offered.
Coursework (100CP):
- Core subjects (25CP): Core subjects must be completed.
- Capstone (25CP): This is typically taken in the form of two subjects.
- Core selective (12.5CP): Students normally complete one of the selective subjects in the area of Pharmacology
- Electives (37.5CP): Students normally undertake three elective subjects.
Research (100CP):
- Core subjects (25CP): Core subjects must be completed.
- Capstone (25CP): This is typically taken in the form of two subjects.
- Core selective (12.5CP): Students normally complete one selective subjects in the area of Pharmacology AND Research
- Electives (12.5CP): Students normally undertake one elective subject.
