This breadth track is for students from outside the Faculty of Business & Economics who seek an eventual career or graduate work related to consulting and investment banking.

FNCE10005 Quantitative Methods 1
FNCE20001 Business Finance OR FNCE20005 Corporate Financial Decision Making
and one of:
ECOM20001 Introductory Econometrics
ECON20003 Quantative Methods 2
and two of:
FNCE30002 Corporate Finance
FNCE30007 Derivatives Securities
These subjects are not approved as breadth for Bachelor of Commerce students. The track cannot be taken by Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Biomedicine or Bachelor of Engineering students as ECON10005 is not available in the breadth or core components of those degrees.
What is a Breadth Track?
A breadth track is a sequence of three or more subjects (taken as part of a Melbourne Bachelor degree) that progressively develops knowledge and skills relevant to a coherent domain, theme, topic or issue. It is a suggested set of subjects, rather than a requirement.
