Intended learning outcomes

On completion of this course, graduates should be able to:

• Demonstrate an advanced theoretical understanding and knowledge of digital engineering including Building Information Modelling (BIM), sensor systems and Internet of Things (IoT), reality capture and information visualisation
• Critically analyse and evaluate digital engineering alternatives for addressing complex problems in architecture, engineering, construction, infrastructure and facilities management
• Generate digital engineering solutions to improve and transform industry practices
• Communicate and transfer digital engineering knowledge to others in the industry
• Demonstrate autonomy and responsibility in adapting digital engineering solutions.
