Students enrolled in this subject will complete a 20-day internship placement (160 hours) with an external organisation. The host organisation must be related to the chosen specialisation within the Master of Construction Management.
Students are responsible for identifying a suitable host organisation prior to enrolling on the subject at each start of the semester. The selection of the host organisation can be self-sourced by the students or University sourced. See information on the subject webpage: https://msd.unimelb.edu.au/current-students/subject-information/internships-vocational-placements/abpl90434-construction-management-internship.
The placement should draw on specific discipline skills associated with the chosen specialisation to develop industry-relevant skills and knowledge related to the student’s chosen career direction. Students will be supervised by the Subject Coordinator in collaboration with a designated supervisor at the host organisation.
