Coordinator Jacqueline Ibrahim Mode of delivery Online Contact hours Cartels will be offered in two formats: The Online format will be taught over eight weeks and involves largely self-directed learning combined with weekly discussion board activities and two 90-minute evening webinars (in weeks 3 and week 6). The On Campus format is taught over eight weeks and involves self-directed activity online, engagement in online discussion board activity and participation in weekly face-to-face seminars. Total time commitment 150 hours Pre teaching start date 9 October 2023 Pre teaching requirements During the pre-teaching period, students should familiarise themselves with the online platform and may like to take the opportunity to read through preliminary information about the subject and the services and support that is available to them. Students are encouraged to use this time to also introduce themselves to peers and teaching staff and to learn about those they will be studying with throughout the term. This subject has a quota of 30 students.
Enrolment is on a 'first in' basis. Waitlists are maintained for subjects that are fully subscribed.
Students should note priority of waitlisted places in subjects will be given as follows:
- To currently enrolled Graduate Diploma and Masters students with a satisfactory record in their degree
- To other students enrolling on a single subject basis, eg Community Access Program (CAP) students, cross-institutional study and cross-faculty study.
