This subject provides a context for music students with complementary skills to work together on a collaborative project. Workshops on collaborative and professional skills will lead to a mutually devised project outcome such as a performance, lecture, audio or video recording, or webpage/blog. Assessment is based on documentation of the process as well as of the final product.
Intended learning outcomes
On completion of this subject students should be able to:
- articulate personal artistic and career goals;
- negotiate personal goals and opinions with those of others, for mutual benefit;
- create a project proposal in audio-visual form;
- design, implement and document a collaborative musical project with confidence and polish;
- give and respond to constructive feedback;
- reflect personally and critically on project outcomes.

On completion of this subject students should be able to:
- communicate effectively, in oral, written and digital forms;
- communicate constructively in different social situations;
- develop innovative and creative ideas;
- give and receive constructive feedback;
