Students will undertake this Capstone subject as a practical work integrated learning experience with a professional orchestra.
Through involvement with the orchestra’s rehearsal and performance schedule, students will develop orchestral performance skills and professionalism.
Intended learning outcomes
On successful completion of this subject, students should be able to:
- demonstrate a professional level standard in their orchestral ensemble performance;
- demonstrate appropriate rehearsal and performance etiquette for professional situations;
- demonstrate mastery of performance styles and practices;
- critically evaluate past and present performance practices.
