  • 200 words
Hurdle requirement: Students must submit the research proposal in order to pass the subject		Week 2 of first semester of enrolment ( Week 2 of SEM 1)0%

Progress report(pass/ fail)

  • 1000 words
Week 10 of first semester of enrolment ( Week 10 of SEM 1) 0%

Revised proposal

  • 1600 words
Week 4 of the following semester (week 4 of second semester enrolment) 10%

Seminar presentation of research Project in Progress

  • 2500 words
During the Second semester enrolment (SEM2 teaching period) 15%

Thesis

  • 10000 words (equivalent)
Hurdle requirement: Students Must achieve a mark of at least 65% in the thesis in order to pass the subject. 		Week 12 of the following semester ( SEM2) 75%

Additional details

Students will receive a pass/fail upon completion of this subject – Bachelor of Design Honours Thesis Part I. 

Students will receive a numerical mark upon completion of the Bachelor of Design Honours Thesis Part II. (See Handbook entry for further details of assessments for Honours Thesis Part II.)
