One research proposal incorporating a literature review 5000 words	In the first semester of this subject	15%
An oral presentation on the proposed research 20 minutes	In the first semester of this subject	5%
A progress report on the research project 3000 words	In the second semester of this subject	10%
A final oral presentation 20 minutes	At the end of the fourth semester of this subject	10%
One written thesis 15000 words	At the end of the fourth semester of this subject	60%

The assessment requirements above are applicable to the entire 50 point Research Project.
