One written examination in the middle of semester. Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs) 1-3 are addressed in this assessment.

  • 1.5 hours
Hurdle requirement: To pass the subject, students must exceed a hurdle on the sum of the mid-semester and end-of-semester exams.		Mid semester25%

One written examination at the end of semester. ILOs 1-3 are addressed in this assessment.

  • 3 hours
Hurdle requirement: To pass the subject, students must exceed a hurdle on the sum of the mid-semester and end-of-semester exams.		During the examination period45%

Three workshop reports completed in small groups (2-3 students), each not exceeding 10 pages (approximately 25-30 hours of work total per student). ILOs 3 and 4 are assessed in this assessment

  • 25-30 hours (of work required)
Reports to be submitted a week after the workshops (weeks 5, 7 and 12) 30%
