Overview
The minimum entry requirement for Indonesian Studies honours is completion of all the requirements for the Bachelor of Arts, with a major in Indonesian and an average of at least H2A (75%) in second and third-year subjects within the major, or equivalent.
The honours program in Indonesian Studies comprises advanced coursework and an individual research project designed to extend students' knowledge and skills in analysing Indonesia related issues.
Intended learning outcomes
On completion of this specialisation, students should be able to:
- Demonstrate a detailed knowledge and understanding of key issues in the field of Indonesian Studies
- Demonstrate and detailed knowledge of Indonesian language, culture and society and advanced proficiency in reading, writing and communicating fluently in Indonesian.
