The minimum entry requirement for Chinese Studies honours is completion of all the requirements of the Bachelor of Arts and a major in Chinese Language with an average of at least H2A (75%), or equivalent.
The honours program in Chinese Studies comprises advanced coursework and individual research project designed to extend students' knowledge and skills in analysing China-related issues.

On completion of this specialisation, students should be able to:

Apply advanced knowledge of Chinese language/s and of Chinese culture and society in relevant professional and academic contexts
