Intended learning outcomes
On completion of this specialisation, students should be able to:
- Identify appropriate assessment methods and high-quality data sources to answer questions of learning and other educational outcomes
- Interpret and use data to promote evidence-based decision making in educational settings, from the classroom to national and international contexts, including the sustainable development goals for education
- Identify appropriate assessment practices and evaluation approaches for a variety of educational purposes and contexts
- Evaluate the impact of educational products, programs, assessments and data on learning
- Critically analyse and reflect on the ethical use of assessment and evaluation across different stakeholder groups, including understanding of and respect for culture, diversity, inclusion and social justice.
