Intended learning outcomes

On completion of this course, graduates will:

• Be able to demonstrate and apply knowledge through practice in the area of people and resource management, project planning and procurement, market planning and analysis
• Be able to characterise how engineering-based industry functions and the business and ethical framework in which it operates
• Be able to characterise the fundamental issues involved with integrating and coordinating activities in different organisational structures
• Be able to apply core principles of project management to plan, analyse, and schedule activities and resources for simple business projects
• Be able to analyse the fundamental principles involved in managing engineering and technological markets and apply these to engineering products and services.
