Intended learning outcomes

On completion of this specialisation, students should be able to:

• Demonstrate special skills in the provision of clinical services applicable to Endodontics
• Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the principles, current developments and research methods applicable to Endodontics
• Conduct an original scientific investigation into a biological, clinical or community health problems of Endodontics and communicate the results of scientific enquiry
• Advanced knowledge and skills in the area of Endodontics
• Facilitate the advanced development of clinical, academic and research skills necessary to further a career in academia, research or Endodontics dentistry practice
• Advanced understanding of the changing knowledge base of Endodontics
• Advanced understanding of the international context and sensitivities of Endodontics
• Ability to offer leadership in Endodontics
• Understanding of the significance and value of knowledge to the wider community (including business and industry) within Endodontics
