Intended learning outcomes

On completion of this specialisation, students should be able to:

• Demonstrate special skills in the provision of clinical services applicable to Prosthodontics
• Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the principles, current developments and research methods applicable to Prosthodontics
• Conduct an original scientific investigation into a biological, clinical or community health problems of Prosthodontics and communicate the results of scientific enquiry
• Advanced knowledge and skills in the area of Prosthodontics
• Facilitate the advanced development of clinical, academic and research skills necessary to further a career in academia, research or Prosthodontics dentistry practice
• Advanced understanding of the changing knowledge base of Prosthodontics
• Advanced understanding of the international context and sensitivities of Prosthodontics
• Ability to offer leadership in Prosthodontics
• Understanding of the significance and value of knowledge to the wider community (including business and industry) within Prosthodontics
