On completion of this specialisation, students should be able to:- Demonstrate special skills in the provision of clinical services applicable to Special Needs Dentistry
- Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the principles, current developments and research methods applicable to Special Needs Dentistry
- Conduct an original scientific investigation into a biological, clinical or community health problems of Special Needs Dentistry and communicate the results of scientific enquiry
- Advanced knowledge and skills in the area of Special Needs Dentistry
- Facilitate the advanced development of clinical, academic and research skills necessary to further a career in academia, research or Special Needs Dentistry practice
- Advanced understanding of the changing knowledge base of Special Needs Dentistry
- Advanced understanding of the international context and sensitivities of Special Needs Dentistry
