This innovative course draws on industry expertise, emphasising a strategic approach to supply chain management. The course focuses on global best practice and makes extensive use of “real life” case studies. The course will cover core and contemporary supply chain topics relevant to practitioners in both manufacturing and service sectors and is designed for those who wish to advance their knowledge and careers in supply chain management.

Entry requirements
1. In order to be considered for entry, applicants must have completed:
- an undergraduate degree in any discipline, or equivalent.
Meeting this requirement does not guarantee selection.
2. In ranking applications, the Selection Committee will consider:
- prior academic performance.
3. The Selection Committee may seek further information to clarify any aspect of an application in accordance with the Academic Board rules on the use of selection instruments.
4. Applicants are required to satisfy the university’s English language requirements for graduate courses. For those applicants seeking to meet these requirements by one of the standard tests approved by the Academic Board, performance band 7 is required (with no individual band less than 6.5).
Notes:
1. Applicants with an undergraduate degree in business/commerce or a related discipline, or with a degree in any discipline with appropriate business breadth or minor, may be awarded up to 50 points of credit.
Guaranteed Pathway
For those applicants with an undergraduate degree in any discipline who are assessed as not meeting the University of Melbourne WAM-equivalent requirement for entry into the Master of Supply Chain Management, a place in the Graduate Certificate in Business may be offered. Successful completion of the Graduate Certificate with a minimum average WAM of 70, and no failed subjects, provides a guaranteed pathway into the Master of Supply Chain Management. Advanced Standing for subjects completed in the Graduate Certificate in Business will be provided where subjects undertaken align with equivalent foundation subjects to be completed as part of this degree.

The Master of Management (Supply Chain Management) requires the successful completion of 200 credit points.
200 Point Entry
Students must complete:
- 50 credit points of Foundation subjects
- 100 credit points of Core & Discipline Core subjects
- 12.5 credit points of Capstone subjects
- 12.5 credit points of Capstone Selective subjects
- 25 credit points of Elective subjects
150 Point Entry
Students entering the Master of Management (Supply Chain Management) with 50 credit points of advanced standing will complete the 150 point program.

Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain and Operations Management
Students enrolled in the Master of Management (Supply Chain Management) who are either unable, or who choose not to continue with their studies, may be eligible to exit with a Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain and Operations Management. Students must complete the subjects: MGMT90280 Managerial Decision Analytics, IBUS90008 Global Value Chains, MGMT90032 Operations and Process Management and MGMT90031 Project Management.
Graduate Certificate in Management
Students enrolled in any Master of Management programs who are either unable, or who choose not to continue with their studies, may be eligible to exit with a Graduate Certificate in Management.
Master of Management students enrolled in 200 point programs who wish to exit with the Graduate Certificate must complete 100 points of Master of Management subjects (50 points of which must be core subjects).
Master of Management students with cognate backgrounds who are following the 150 point study plan and wish to exit with the Graduate Certificate must complete 50 points of Master of Management subjects (25 points of which must be core subjects).
Graduate Diploma in Management
Students enrolled in any Master of Management programs who are either unable, or who choose not to continue with their studies, may be eligible to exit with a Graduate
Diploma in Management.
Master of Management students enrolled in 200 point programs who wish to exit with the Graduate Diploma must complete 150 points of Master of Management subjects (75 points of which must be core subjects).
Master of Management students with cognate backgrounds who are following the 150 point study plan and wish to exit with the Graduate Diploma must complete 100 points of Master of Management subjects (50 points of which must be core subjects).
