Hurdle requirement: Late Penalty and Assessment hurdle requirement: Assessment submitted late without an approved extension will be penalised at five per cent (5%) of the possible marks available for the assessment task per day or part thereof. All pieces of assessment must be submitted to pass the subject.  Each submitted assessment must be complete, constitute a genuine attempt to address the requirements of the task and will not be accepted after 20 University business days from the original assessment due date without written approval. Please note: This assessment statement applies to the entire enrolment across parts 1 and 2 of the subject (i.e. CRIM90028 and CRIM90029 together).

* Hurdle statement: the following requirements must be met in order for students to be eligible to submit the final thesis:

  • Supervision: Regular supervisory meetings
  • Topic Proposal Form: To be submitted by the first week of the semester of thesis enrolment
  • Progress Report: To be submitted halfway through the thesis year
  • Thesis Draft: A full draft of the thesis is to be submitted approximately 5 weeks prior to the final thesis submission date.
