Students will have to give a short presentation (equivalent to 5 minutes) on the progress of their project (date to be announced by the School of Mathematics and Statistics early in semester) (pass/fail)

A thesis is the main requirement. Theses are expected to be 40-60 pages in length, excluding references, appendices, figures and tables. The thesis is to be submitted two weeks prior to the end of the teaching period in the final semester of Research project enrolment.
