This subject introduces students to core topics in philosophical methodology, such as apriori analysis, conceptual engineering, phenomenological methods, and decolonization of philosophical expertise.
Intended learning outcomes
On completion of this subject, students should be able to:
- Enhance general knowledge of contemporary work in their discipline outside their speciality
- Summarise philosophical pedagogy
- Critically analyze and apply various philosophical methodologies, to address complex philosophical inquiries
- Evaluate the strengths and limitations of different philosophical methods and theories
- Engage in rigorous philosophical inquiry and contribute to academic discourse.
