Forests and Fire

Overview

Forests and fire introduces students to forests from social, historical, environmental and economic perspectives and provides an understanding of the effects of fuel, weather and climate on the nature and periodicity of bushfires, as well as the social and economic impact of bushfires.

What is a Breadth Track?

A breadth track is a sequence of three or more subjects (taken as part of a Melbourne Bachelor degree) that progressively develops knowledge and skills relevant to a coherent domain, theme, topic or issue. It is a suggested set of subjects, rather than a requirement.
