Overview
The specialisation in project management is conceived for students who have an interest in coordinating all aspects of the building procurement process on behalf of clients or within client organisations. Educational focus is placed on the integration of technical dimensions and the ability to understand, foresee, evaluate and control industry contributions to a project.
Intended learning outcomes
- Develop professional and project management competencies and decision-making abilities in the area of expertise;
- Develop skills in understanding, realising and visualising projects and programs from life-cycle project management perspectives;
- Develop conceptual knowledge on broad project management issues and enhance the problem-solving skills required for effective delivery of projects;
- Enhance entrepreneurial capabilities and business leadership for achieving success in projects.

Structure
All students must take:
- 150 points of core Architecture subjects
- 125 points of core - MCCM- Project Management specialisation subjects
- 25 points of Master of Construction Electives
Subject Options
Students are required to successfully complete all of the following core subjects (275 points) and 25 Points Project -Management specialisation electives in order to obtain the Cost Management specialisation in the Master of Architecture /Master of Construction Management.
