Intended learning outcomes

In addition to the learning outcomes of the Master of Civil Engineering, students should:

• Reflect critically on theory and professional practice of civil engineering in the context of the business world
• Investigate, analyse and synthesise complex information, problems, concepts and theories, and apply established theories to obtain solutions related to operating businesses in infrastructure engineering and civil engineering.
• Apply knowledge and skills in the fields of infrastructure engineering and civil engineering with specific emphasis on the financial and business contexts of engineering practice: a) With creativity and initiative to solve problems in professional practice and/or for further learning; b) With high level personal autonomy and accountability; c) To plan and execute engineering projects.
• Develop research principles and methods in the field of engineering business strategy.
