Course structure
The Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law requires the successful completion of 50 credit points.
Students who do not have a law degree from a common law jurisdiction or any prior legal studies or experience are also expected to complete the two-day preliminary subject Australian Legal Process and Legal Institutions.
About Overview of Intellectual Property
Overview of Intellectual Property is a two-day seminar that provides a general survey of the various regimes comprising intellectual property (IP). It is accredited by the TTIPAB as satisfying the accreditation requirements for Topic Group A2 and part of Topic Group A1.
Subject options
Students must complete:
- a minimum of 37.5 credit points of IP subjects; AND
- 12.5 credit points of IP-relevant or IP subjects.
