Reflexive Report - Leadership Values and Practice Analysis (Individual) Objective of this assignment is to articulate self‐knowledge to leadership learning. Students will undertake a critical self‐awareness exercise and report on understanding of self, their qualities, values and attributes and their leadership styles, including identifying areas for self‐development. Students will be expected to relate the findings of the self‐analysis to a critical analysis of an article or theory of leadership encountered in the subject.

Group Activity (Approx 6‐8 members): Contextual Analysis, (5 min) video report . Objective of this assignment is to illustrate requisite understandings of how to undertake a context analysis that incorporates stakeholders, policies, conflicts, resource and other factors that shape the context development leadership

Major Assignment (Individual) The objective of the major assignment is to critically examine the fundamentals of leadership in development. Students select a topic approved by coordinator in which they provide an in‐depth case study that incorporates a critical analysis of contemporary theories, approaches and debates of leadership in development.

Digital Reflective Journal (Individual) - although this is not assessed, it is intended to provide students with: 1) Opportunities for personal reflection of their key learnings and challenges; and, 2) To identify areas for personal development in knowledge, skills and their application.
