Clinical Teaching Practicum (Employment-based teaching) and AfGT: Demonstration of clinical teaching practice against Australian Professional Standards for Teachers at the Graduate level across 80 days of school teaching (number of days may vary according to school specific timetabling), including completion of the Assessment for Graduate Teachers (AfGT).

Additional details
The Master of Teaching (Secondary) Internship is a professionally accredited Initial Teacher Education qualification with an employment-based teaching internship.
Interns are employed in a Secondary School (0.8FTE teaching load for two-years, paid at a 1.0FTE para professional rate with Permission to Teach from the Victorian Institute of Teaching or equivalent Australian state/territory-based authority for Interns with a school appointment outside Victoria), forming the Clinical Teaching Practicum (Employment-based teaching) requirement of 80 days placement.
