- 2 X surgical orthodontic presentations (30 mins each), distributed throughout year (5%)
- Pre-clinical Course – students will be taught and then assessed on wire bending, cephalometric analysis, photography and basic orthodontics, February (5%, hurdle requirement: overall Pass required)
- 2 x written exams (3 hrs each) OR 1 x written exam (3 hrs) and a series of bone biology tests, Mid Year (20%, hurdle requirement: overall Pass required)
- 2 x written exams (3 hrs each), End Year (20%, hurdle requirement: overall Pass required)
- 3 x seminar presentations with preparation of substantial handout on the assigned topic (2 hrs each), scheduled throughout the year (30%, hurdle requirement: overall Pass required)
- 2 X paediatric dentistry/orthodontic presentations (30 mins), throughout the year (5%)
- Clinical Demonstrator assessment, Mid & End Year (15%, hurdle requirement: overall Pass required)
- 100% Attendance for all Seminars & Clinical Sessions, including rostered On-Call Sessions, throughout the year (pass/fail, hurdle requirement)
