This subject focuses on the leadership and management competencies necessary to create an effective environment to enhance student learning and success. Topics include: teaching and learning methodologies, assessing student needs, staff development, curriculum administration and structure, computer-based learning, organizational culture, and assessment and reporting.
Intended learning outcomes
This subject aims to develop knowledge and understanding of

Generic skills
On completion of this subject, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate a range leadership and management competencies necessary implement organisational change;
- Understand curriculum design in a range of educational setting understanding teaching and learning approaches in a range of contexts;
- Demonstrate planning and strategic thinking skills.
