Assessment
Additional details
- 30 minute practical exam, conducted during a clinical session at the end of the teaching period of the subject, (10%)
- 1 hour clinical examination, due at the end of the teaching period, (30%)
- Continuous supervisor clinical assessment, due upon completion of the subject, (60%) - Clinical supervisors will provide ongoing feedback to students during and after clinical sessions, including a more detailed conversation on the student's progress at the end of the first week of the clinical placement. This will take into account demonstrated clinical skills and problem solving in the clinical setting, the quality of written and verbal communication with other health professionals, the quality of medical records, teamwork skills, communication with patients and families, clinical decision making and demonstrated technical ability for skills taught during the course.
