Intended learning outcomes
On completion of this specialisation, students should be able to:
- Completed the equivalent of fourth year honours with a research component and obtain a recognised qualification
- Obtained an adequate basis for pursuing advanced studies in public policy at masters or PhD level
- Developed a specialist understanding of specific areas of study, showing an understanding of the latest research directions
- Developed a capacity for an advanced level of analysis in relation to the specific issues in public policy.

The Graduate Diploma in Arts (Advanced) in this area of specialisation requires:

- thesis (37.5 points)
- elective subjects (25 points)

Please note: Students must enrol in the thesis PPMN40006 Public Policy & Management Thesis Part 1 and PPMN40007 Public Policy & Management Thesis Part 2 over two consecutive semesters
