Overview
his specialisation enables students to gain a deeper understanding of the processes, impact and importance of leadership in educational organisations.
Intended learning outcomes
On completion of this specialisation, students should be able to:
- Understand, apply, analyse and critically evaluate theories and concepts including from First Nations' cultures in the study of educational leadership
- Understand the role of the leader in bringing about student equity, educational change and transformation for all students
- Understand and critically explore the leadership contexts in which they find themselves now and into the future, and how this relates to global education perspectives and issues including sustainability challenges
- Using an evidence-based approach, develop and be critically reflective of their own understanding of educational leadership
- Understand, develop and apply effective educational leadership skills.
