Intended learning outcomes
Graduates of this degree will be adept influencers and decision-makers in changing and complex organizational environments. They will engage in critical and analytical thinking to make evidence-based managerial decisions, develop solutions to organizational problems, and influence in multi-stakeholder environments.
Learning objectives to achieve this goal
On successful completion of this degree students will be able to:
- Recognise ethical implications and apply ethical principles in decision-making and problem solving.
- Employ evidenced-based techniques to support agile decision-making.
- Engage in analytic and critical thinking to obtain, synthesize, analyse, and evaluate relevant evidence and considerations when making decisions.
- Demonstrate adaptivity and creativity in developing solutions to complex organizational problems.
- Manage and influence the complex interdependencies within and between organisations at individual and collective levels.
- Engage in multi-stakeholder collaboration to create value for all stakeholders.
- Identify and navigate conflict within the organization to achieve optimal outcomes for all key stakeholders.
Graduates of this degree will integrate the human-centric and operations-centric elements of the organization to optimize individual and organizational performance.

- Effectively manage multi-disciplinary and diverse teams.
- Manage, lead and develop high-performance teams, linking the performance of their team/s to the achievement of organizational strategy.
- Identify, recruit and retain high-potential employees.
- Understand the needs and motivations of internal and external customers to develop a service culture within teams and the organisation.
- Manage customer relationships to deliver service excellence and optimize service recovery.
- Procure and deploy operational resources to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Manage lean operations to do more with less.
