Additional delivery details
The application process for higher research can differ from university to university and so it is advised that applicants ensure they understand the pre-requisites of such applications and whether or not the Masters of Business Analytics would satisfy continuation to a higher degree.
Typically an applicant would follow the timeline below:
- Initial discussion of research project with Academic Director (AD)
- Discussions with appropriate supervisors within MBS or FBE regarding the research proposal & with the AD until a project meets course learning outcomes and research interests.
- Final approval by the AD of the project (scope, supervisor, assessment etc).
- Enrolment into the research pathway prior to the census date of the Professional Development Program I subject.
MBS Academic staff that can supervise students in this stream are listed on the Melbourne Business School webpage at: https://mbs.edu/faculty-and-research/. If there is a faculty member whose research interests are suitable, please contact them directly via email to see if they are available to act as your supervisor in the event of a successful application.
It is also the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the Masters of Business Analytics research pathway would meet the pre-requisites for entry into a Doctoral Program.
