Overview

This specialised pathway builds the capacity of Teacher Candidates, studying to become Language and Literacy experts, to develop and sustain improvement in student language and literacy outcomes.

Subject Options

The Literacy Specialised Pathway requires a minimum of 50 points of study with a Literacy focus, as outlined below. Teacher Candidates follow either the Coursework or Research Option.

Teacher Candidates may choose between taking the Literacy-focused elective EDUC90915, a Place Based Elective (with or without a Literacy focus), or one of the Alternative Electives. Refer to the full elective list for subjects.
