Course structure
To qualify for the award of Graduate Certificate in Education a student must satisfactorily complete any 50 credit points of graduate subjects in the Master of Education, Master of TESOL, or Master of Modern Languages Education (note that up to 25 points of ‘Education Level 3 Elective’ undergraduate subjects may be included, and count towards the 50 credit points).
Alternatively, students that have satisfactorily completed 50 credit points of graduate subjects in another Master’s degree or Graduate Diploma offered by the Graduate School of Education may be eligible to exit early and be awarded the Graduate Certificate in Education; with permission of the relevant course coordinator and the Master of Education course coordinator.
