Structure

75 credit points

To obtain a major in Indigenous Studies, students must complete:

  • 25 credit points of Level 2 major core subjects
  • 12.5 credit points of Level 2 major elective subject
  • 12.5 credit points of capstone subject
  • 12.5 credit points of Level 3 major core subject
  • 12.5 credit points of Level 3 major elective subject

*Notes:

The Level 2 elective UNIB20022 Indigenous Cultures and Knowledges and Level 3 elective subject MULT30022 Indigenous Engineering and Design must be taken within the breadth component of the degree.

Foundation subjects

A Major begins at second year. Each discipline has one or more first-year Foundation subjects which provide excellent preparation for the Major. Please note the Capstone subject in this Major requires the completion of a first-year discipline Foundation subject as a pre-requisite - one subject from the list below.
